Peddling as quickly as my painful legs could move, I came to a sudden stop.
My surprised eyes followed the big black bear as it curved off the old brush road into the dark forest, some feet in front of me.
As I can remember it absolutely was a long bike ride, even for 3 fourteen year old boys.
The road we took to get there and back had not seen any traffic for a couple of years.
Since that time I have seen many a black bear in the Ontario Northland of Canada.
the quantity of orphaned pups in shelters rose.
Residents now have to tolerate bother bears.
The holiday makers have good stories because they can get an improved chance at seeing one.
Bad, because campers will have to keep an eager eye for bother bears.
The newbie must learn how to look with eyes that see. The taking of an insect, for example, may mean nothing less than a rising trout ; but the position occupied by this fish can point to the position taken by others in similar water.
The backwater formed by a swift current on the upstream side of a boulder is a fave lurking-place of brown trout. In approaching a stone which looked especially inviting, and while making ready to deliver my fly, I was dazzled to see the tail and 1/2 the body of a fine trout out of the water at the side of the rock. Nearly right away I saw the flash of a trout as he left the backwater and dashed pell-mell into the swift water at the side of the stone. Up-stream again he went, and immediately resumed his position in the dead water, showing half his body as he stemmed the prevailing at the side of the rock.
The black bear is also seen in other color phases, chocolate and cinnamon brown are also common.
Black bears can reach weights of almost seven hundred lbs.
Litter size may range between one to 5 pups, but two is average. http://www.swellmale.com/proextender-review.html
